Suddenly, there is a lot of discussion about whether or not we live in a "post-racial society." With the 2012 presidential election right around the corner, I can only conclude that, despicably, "race-baiting" will be a major component of the left's and the White House's Obama re-election campaign. Recently, a black publication interviewed me for an article, the topic being "Is America a post-racial society?" Postal Service reports massive $5 billion loss

The U.S. Postal Service released its annual financial results on Tuesday, and they're nothing to write home about. The agency reported an annual loss of $5.1 billion, as declining mail volumes and mounting benefit costs take their toll. The Postal Service said its losses would have been roughly $10.6 billion if not for the passage of legislation postponing a $5.5 billion payment required to fund retiree health benefits. Somali militants posttape of 'US suicide bomber'

Mogadishu, Somalia - An al-Qaida-linked Somali militant group on Sunday posted a tape allegedly made by an American citizen who blew himself up during an attack on an African Union base in Somalia's capital that left at least 10 people dead. The young man, who would be at least the fourth American to become a suicide bomber in Somalia, urges other young people not to "just chill all day" and instead fight nonbelievers around the world.The website Somalimemo.net, often used by the al-Shabab militia, said Somali-American bomber Abdisalan Taqabalahullaah had emigrated to the U.S. when he was 2 years old.

Thanks to those stubborn things called facts, today it’s the Washington Post under fire not the subject of their Thursday hit-piece, Florida GOP Senator Marco Rubio. And now the WaPo memory-holing has begun. First, the Miami Herald came out swinging against WaPo’s embellishment of Rubio’s so-called embellishments, then the Senator himself hit back, then we learned the troubling back-story of the WaPo ''reporter'' who wrote the piece,and now the once-legendary newspaper has taken to quietly scrubbing the original story in order to make it look like something closer to the truth.

Occupy Calgary protesters entrenched in Olympic Plaza have put out a call for donations from the public, asking for medical supplies, toiletries and condoms. The group, which expanded from its city-granted camp on St. Patrick’s Island following a Saturday protest at Bankers Hall, posted the plea for supplies on Facebook as city officials kept a close watch on the latest annexation of public property.
